Here is a very crude floor plan.
There are now three larges rooms for each step of the process,
- a large machining room which houses the CNC router and other equipment, plus a new walk-in thermal chamber for temperature control of the curing process
- a smaller cutting and casting room with fabric storage, this allows seemless movement between processes before the parts are moved to the thermal chamber
- an office to do office things in, there will eventually be an electronics bench in there as well to further tinker with the shop roomba and not-so-secretly develop an electronic shifting system to revolutionize the cycling world!!
Once the new Roomba comes in and I outfit it with a camera there will be a live vacuum view of the shop as the little guy tirelessly drives around the shop.
Came across this interesting article this morning about the problems with form overtaking function in the cycling world. Now we have known this for a long time at Ruckus Components and are working as hard as we can to retake the function of the bicycle!!
